The 36"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit offers a practical, space-saving storage solution constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This unit features a boltless design that allows quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that minimizes back and side sway. Each of the six adjustable shelves is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking, which wipes clean easily, making it ideal for environments where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service. The shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and the shelving unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
