The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features seven adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit includes double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with a heavy-duty frame composed of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into corner posts to form stable joints, eliminating back and side sway, while the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, assemble easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
