The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and includes seven adjustable shelves with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily. The shelving features a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items. Its heavy-duty frame is made from 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, and shelves that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming stable joints to eliminate back and side sway. Each shelf supports up to 800 lbs. evenly distributed, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage. This shelving is ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service, and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
