The 36"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. It features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level that provide added support and stability while adjusting in 1" increments to fit various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. This 3-shelf unit includes DuraDeck non-porous decking on each adjustable shelf, which wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, with shelves supporting up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space, and it comes with pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
