The 72"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes 3 adjustable shelves with DuraDeck non-porous decking, a smooth surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Its heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet button stud horizontal beams at every level for added support and stability, which adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet beams securely lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that reduce back and side sway. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and each shelf supports up to 800 lbs. when the load is evenly distributed. The shelving unit can be expanded with add-on units for additional storage space and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
