The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design that allows easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, with heavy-duty 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway, while the shelves are adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. Each adjustable shelf includes DuraDeck non-porous decking with a smooth surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. This shelving unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
