The 48"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. Made from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a boltless design that assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, providing four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on every level that adjust in 1" increments, supporting up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each of the four adjustable shelves includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for applications where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service. The kit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and connects to a coordinating starter unit for additional storage space.
