The 72"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick, easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams adjustable in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each removable shelf is fitted with DuraDek non-porous decking, providing a smooth surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit supports up to 600 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and offers four-sided access to stored items due to its open design.
