The 36"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. The unit has five adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking, which wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service industries. It supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and offers four-sided access to stored items. Pre-sized panels allow seamless installation, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
