The 36"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems and connects easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving setup. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 5-shelf unit features a boltless design that allows quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level, which adjust in 1" increments to meet various storage requirements. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, preventing back and side sway and providing added support and stability. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for industries where cleanliness is critical such as healthcare and food service. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, enhancing flexibility, and the unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when the weight is evenly distributed.
