The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway and providing a stable frame. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making the unit ideal for healthcare and food service environments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The shelving unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
