The 72"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is a durable, space-saving storage solution constructed from roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 4-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level that adjust in 1" increments, supporting up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, which is non-porous and wipes clean easily, making it ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service. The pre-sized panels enable seamless installation, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
