The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is made from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes four shelves supported by double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and beams that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming stable joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, allows four-sided access to stored items, and features pre-sized panels for seamless installation. It can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
