The 48"W x 12"D x 60"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design that allows for quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes four adjustable shelves fitted with Duradeck non-porous decking, which is smooth and easy to wipe clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams that adjust in 1" increments to meet various storage requirements. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. This shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed, provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation. It can also be extended with add-on units for additional storage capacity.
