The 48"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes three adjustable shelves with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit’s heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams at every level that adjust in 1" increments to accommodate various storage needs. Double rivet beams on every level add support and stability, securely locking perimeter beams into the corner posts to form stable joints that help eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the shelves support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
