The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit includes five adjustable shelves supported by 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and each is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The unit provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility and can support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. It assembles easily without nuts, bolts, or clips and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
