The 96"W x 18"D x 48"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability and connects to a coordinating starter unit via a T-post configuration to expand existing storage systems. The unit has a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments, supporting up to 600 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. Each of the three adjustable shelves is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suited for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation while ensuring stability by securely locking perimeter beams into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway.
