The 96"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level, which adjust in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway, while each adjustable shelf includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily and is suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, making it ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential. The unit assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips and connects to a coordinating starter unit for additional storage space.
