The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with ease, featuring double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability. It assembles easily without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips and connects to a coordinating starter unit using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 7-shelf unit includes a heavy-duty frame made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf features DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
