The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with practical, space-saving functionality. It connects to standard-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for creating continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 6-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level, which adjust in 1" increments to suit various storage needs. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway for stability. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DURADECK decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, enhancing usability and storage efficiency.
