The 48"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 5-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on every level for added support and stability, and double rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily and is ideal for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and the unit supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the shelving can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. Pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation and the unit is suitable for any industry where cleanliness is essential.
