The 48"W x 12"D x 60"H SC Preferred® standard-duty boltless shelving starter unit is made from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that allows for quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 5-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility and includes heavy-duty frame components such as 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for industries where cleanliness is essential, such as healthcare and food service. The shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. This unit is pre-sized for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
