The 48"W x 12"D x 72"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 6-shelf boltless design allowing quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when weight is evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, and pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation. This unit can also be extended with add-on units to provide additional storage space.
