The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that allows for quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 6-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items and includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves can be adjusted in 1" increments and support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The open design allows for maximum flexibility and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space. The package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
