The 36"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a 6-shelf design for organized storage. It has a boltless design allowing for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips and provides four-sided access to stored items. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf uses Duradeck decking with a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows for maximum flexibility and the unit can be extended with add-on units for extra storage space. Pre-sized panels help ensure seamless installation.
