The 96"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® standard-duty channel boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. It includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams on every level for added support and stability, with beams that adjust in 1" increments. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form stable joints, reducing back and side sway. The unit comes with three adjustable shelves fitted with DuraDeck non-porous decking surfaces that wipe clean easily, making them suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelving supports up to 800 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and allows four-sided access to stored items. It can be expanded with add-on units for additional storage capacity. The design includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and meets requirements for environments where cleanliness is essential.
