The 36"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The 6-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items and includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be adjusted in 1" increments, is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The pre-sized panels allow seamless installation, and the unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
