The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with a practical, space-saving solution. It connects easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 6-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and feature pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
