The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, featuring a boltless design for easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 7-shelf unit includes double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. Its heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items.
