The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a 7-shelf boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suited for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves support up to 300 lbs. each when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and the unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
