The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design that allows for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 7-shelf unit includes heavy-duty 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form stable joints that help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items and the shelving unit can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
