The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is a durable, space-saving storage solution constructed from roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. This 7-shelf unit features a boltless design for easy assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, and provides four-sided access to stored items. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 300 lbs. evenly distributed per level, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows for maximum flexibility in storage organization. The unit can also be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
