The 48"W x 24"D x 84"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 7-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for enhanced stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf supports up to 300 lbs. when evenly distributed and is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, and the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility. The unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and can be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
