The 36"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and includes seven adjustable shelves featuring DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications. The unit’s heavy-duty frame is built with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf, enhancing stability. The rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into corner posts, creating a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and adjust in 1" increments. The boltless design allows for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips, and the open design grants four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The starter unit can be extended with add-on units to increase storage capacity and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation.
