The 48"W x 24"D x 96"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. This 7-shelf unit includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability and reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a stable joint that helps eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf supports up to 300 lbs. when evenly distributed and is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments, the open design allows four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation.
