The 48"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this six-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which is fitted with DuraDeck decking—a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications—can be adjusted at 1" increments. The unit supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, making it ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential.
