The 48"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems and connects easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this six-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts to reduce back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the unit contains pre-sized panels for seamless installation, providing an open design that allows four-sided access to stored items.
