The 36"W x 12"D x 96"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for easy assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes seven adjustable shelves, each fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The heavy-duty frame is made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and incorporates double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for enhanced stability. Rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and are adjustable in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access to stored items, and pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation.
