The butt fastener assembly is comprised of a bolt and two cams, connecting profiles end-to-end to provide a clean, flush connection that is particularly useful where space restrictions apply. It can also be used to join shorter bars where logistics or space constraints make maneuvering longer profiles difficult. This connection method requires a counterbore machining service on each profile. Butt fastener machining must be added to the profile when ordering.
