The wide horizontal stanchion base is commonly used with the aluminum tube profile to create an additional axis, with the tube extending parallel from both sides of the mounted base. This wider option provides sturdiness and durability, and clamp screws are included for secure attachment. Suggested hardware for mounting the base to a T-slot is specified separately.
