The double short UniBearing™ features an open design that allows for customized layouts and is commonly used in applications with two guiderails. It is designed for quick installation or removal without disassembly, which reduces retooling and downtime while enhancing productivity and flexibility. The pads are secured to the housing with stainless steel flathead socket cap screws, eliminating the need for high-cycle pads. The bearing can either move or be fixed; when fixed, it permits the guardrail and assembly to move accordingly. All UniBearings™ include pre-drilled brake holes and tapped mounting holes, facilitating the attachment of accessories to a flat surface.
