Lyon manufactures a traditional double tier metal locker made in the USA, featuring 16-gauge, one-piece steel doors and 24-gauge body components. The door frame corners are lapped and welded to create a strong, rigid assembly, with 6-inch-wide door louvers for ventilation and 6-inch-high legs providing additional toe room below the locker door. Each locker opening includes one double prong hook and three single prong hooks for hanging items. The recessed steel handle sits flush with the door to reduce snagging and contains a lift handle with a hasp for securing with a user-provided padlock. These lockers utilize Lyon's patent-pending metal nano-roller latching system, engaging both the top and bottom of the frame for extra security, supported by a tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide that ensures smooth, quiet operation. The lockers can be ordered unassembled or assembled; the door and frame ship as one piece, ready to attach to the sides and back with nuts and bolts. Professional assembly is available using pop rivets instead of nuts and bolts for increased strength and durability. It is recommended to properly anchor the lockers during installation.
