Lyon's traditional double tier metal locker is manufactured in the USA from 16-gauge one-piece steel doors and 24-gauge body parts, featuring laps and welds at the door frame corners for a strong and rigid assembly. The locker includes 6-inch-wide door louvers for ventilation, 6-inch-high legs for additional toe room, and comes equipped with one double prong hook and three single prong hooks per opening for hanging items. It incorporates Lyon's patent-pending metal nano-roller latching system, which uses a lockbar engaging both the top and bottom of the frame for enhanced break-in protection, with a tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide to ensure smooth, quiet operation. The recessed steel handle, flush with the door, houses a lift handle with a hasp designed for securing with a user-provided padlock. These lockers can be ordered either unassembled or assembled, with unassembled units designed for field assembly using nuts and bolts, while assembled units use pop rivets for a strong and durable construction. The door and frame ship as one piece ready to attach to the locker sides and back. Proper anchoring of the lockers is recommended at installation.
