Lyon® manufactures a 6-door double tier metal locker made in the USA, featuring 16-gauge, one-piece steel doors and 24-gauge body parts. The door frames have lap and weld corners for strength and rigidity, while 6-inch-wide door louvers provide ventilation. The locker stands on 6-inch-high legs that offer additional toe room beneath the doors. Each of the six locker openings includes one double prong hook and three single prong hooks for hanging coats or bags. The recessed steel handle with a lift handle includes a hasp inside the recessed cup for securing a user-provided padlock. This model incorporates Lyon®'s patent-pending metal nano-roller latching system involving a lockbar that engages the top and bottom of the frame for enhanced break-in protection, and a tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide that ensures smooth, quiet operation. The lockers are available to order unassembled or assembled; unassembled units are easily put together on-site using nuts and bolts, with the door and frame shipped as one piece ready to attach to the sides and back. Professionally assembled units are secured with pop rivets instead of nuts and bolts to guarantee a durable and strong assembly. Proper anchoring of the locker system is recommended.
