The Lyon® 2000 Series open steel shelving beaded post add-on unit is a 3-foot shelving unit designed to create additional vertical storage space with high visibility and unrestricted airflow, featuring open sides and back for light penetration and ventilation. It includes one 14-gauge steel beaded post for the front corner and two 14-gauge steel angle post uprights for the rear corners, with side and back sway braces made of 12-gauge steel and a back cross brace to prevent lateral sway, ensuring stability and support. The unit comes with five adjustable 20-gauge heavy-duty shelves, ideal for storing both light parts and heavier items like tools, safety supplies, and aerosols. The shelves have a patented box design with lapped and welded corners for added strength and durability, and each shelf includes four clips that can be adjustable on 1-1/2 inch vertical centers without tools. The shelving unit is finished with a powder coat paint to protect the steel from everyday use.
