The Lyon® 2000 Series open steel shelving beaded post starter unit is a 3-foot shelving system designed to instantly increase vertical storage space with high visibility, featuring open sides and back to allow light penetration and airflow. This 5-shelf metal shelving unit is suitable for storing light parts, aerosols, heavier items such as tools or safety supplies, and is ideal for warehouse or commercial use. The unit includes two beaded posts and two angle post uprights made from 14-gauge steel for strength, with side and back sway braces constructed from 12-gauge steel and a cross brace on the back for lateral stability. The 5 heavy-duty shelves are 20-gauge steel with a patented box design for added strength at the front and rear, featuring lapped and welded corners for durability. Shelves come with four clips that can be adjusted without tools on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, allowing flexible shelf height adjustments. The shelving is finished with a powder coat paint to protect against everyday wear.
