The superior nylon reinforced vinyl facing of the dock seal has a higher tear strength than equivalent weight Hypalon, with chemically sealed ends to prevent moisture infiltration. It is mounted on and bonded to durable Wolmanized wood and features a full height air escape tunnel. The unit consists of a three-piece construction with beveled fronts and includes a through-the-wall installation kit. A maximum compression of 5 inches is recommended. For applications with a flush dock to building in conjunction with an Edge-O-Dock, a 20-inch projection dock seal should be used. This dock seal has three foam-filled pads that offer full dock protection, built-in air tunnels to allow air to escape when contacted by a trailer, and includes mounting hardware and installation instructions for quick and easy installation. The unit is non-returnable.
