The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that are adjustable vertically at 1" increments, allowing for adaptable open shelves with four-side access. Its sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, featuring double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The set-up is easy and boltless, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips with snap-in components for assembly. The shelves come with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking with a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
