The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter without decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to maximize storage areas. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs., and the open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for flexible configuration. The shelving unit features durable 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway. The design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the entire structure is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips, and decking must be ordered separately.
