The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking features a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, providing durable and adaptable storage solutions. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, ensuring structural stability and eliminating back and side sway. The shelving provides four-side access for maximum flexibility and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and comes with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that offers a cost-effective solid surface.
